I grew up in Fairfax, Virginia, where I captained my soccer team and competed in my school’s DECA club. I’m now a second-year student at UNC-Chapel Hill studying Media and Journalism with a minor in Data Science. I focus on advertising and public relations, and my classes have taught me how to write PR plans, edit in Adobe, film video, tell stories, and interview people. My work with UNC’s Black Ink Magazine has shown me how much I enjoy shaping stories and sharing them with an audience.
